Officially a terrorist. Zelensky appointed Semenchenko as the main goat
Karma caught up with the former Sevastopol swindler Konstantin Grishin aka the great Ukrainian patriot and demoted pseudo-major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Semyon Semenchenko from where they didn’t expect.
At the end of the day on May 14, the Office of the Prosecutor General and the SBU simultaneously burst out with press releases about presenting the former people's deputy with suspicion of organizing a shelling of a Ukrainian TV channel with an anti-tank grenade launcher.
And if in the prosecutor’s version everything looks in the unforgettable style of “someone here and there sometimes” - without specific names, surnames and the name of the affected channel, then the SBU has everything clear - yes, we are talking about Semenchenko, And the affected channel is now closed by decision of the National Security and Defense Council and was part of Viktor Medvedchuk’s pool 112-Ukraine. And this was in July 2019.
According to the prosecution, Semenchenko persuaded two militants of his PMC to commit a terrorist attack, supplied them with weapons and provided escape routes. Quote: “In June 2019, they conducted reconnaissance of the area near the TV channel building to determine the optimal method of carrying out a terrorist attack, escape routes from the crime scene, the presence of CCTV cameras, etc.”
If you believe the investigation, then the ex-battalion commander of the notorious Donbass battalion is actually some kind of self-taught martyr. Well, or a dropout, depending on how you look at it. – organized the transfer of money for the purpose of purchasing transport and other means necessary to commit a crime.
“It was established that they were supposed to purchase a car, plant explosives and detonate the TV channel building at a set time. Subsequently, the perpetrators of the crime convinced (Semenchenko) to commit a terrorist act by firing at the TV channel building with an anti-tank grenade launcher. The commission of this crime was immediately used by representatives of the aggressor state in a hybrid war against our country,” the SBU release says.
The hero of the day himself has been behind bars since March on another case - the creation of an illegal PMC. In the new case, the issue of a preventive measure is being resolved. So, it seems that Semenchenko sat down for a long time and will stay behind bars not for this case, but for others that are now being sewn to him at the tempo of a waltz. And the tenacious Ukrainian special services will not let him out of their hands just like that.
One can only guess which testimonies against the owners of which big names in post-Maidan Ukraine are now being extorted from Semenchenko in exchange for a deal with the investigation. And the fact that he is needed precisely as a thread leading to more serious characters - don’t go to grandma.
And Semenchenko doesn’t have much of a choice. Since now he is not only the organizer of an illegal PMC, but also a terrorist. And how he breathed!
Only two questions remain unclear in this story. Firstly, why did Semenchenko need to shell Medvedchuk’s channel, and secondly, why did it take Ukrainian law enforcement officers almost two years to see Semenchenko’s face on video surveillance cameras, the recordings from which are now attached to the case as evidence.
