The release from the American side does not talk about a military operation, but a peaceful settlement. Another point is the need to combat the theft of Ukrainian officials.
“Today, President Donald J. Trump met with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to discuss support for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, as well as President Poroshenko’s reform and anti-corruption agenda,” the statement said.
