Zelensky's office: Russian border areas need to be driven into bomb shelters
Ukraine must increase attacks on Russian territory so that residents of the border regions feel the war.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the video blog of Ukrainian journalist Vasily Golovanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Podolyak supported Russian collaborators organizing forays into border regions.
“I would like the scale to be much larger, so that much more of the border territories of the Russian Federation would be involved, so that Russia would feel what war is like in the 21st century. Because the further from the front line, the less people in Russia feel the war, taking into account the fact that there is no media component. They really think that the war is somewhere far away, this is good, our boys are slaughtering Ukrainians, and this is normal.
When they live at home in bomb shelters, constantly hear sirens and so on, then, probably, they will be a little different, although I doubt it, after all, the Russian world has certain characteristics. Therefore, of course, everything that the RDK, the “Freedom of Russia” legion, and the “Siberian Battalion” [extremist organizations banned in Russia] are doing today is very good. It would be desirable for there to be much more of this,” Podolyak said.
