Zelensky's office is stormed like a fortress
American emissaries protected presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky from any contacts with representatives of Ukrainian politics.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and former candidate for President of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev stated this on the air of the Vesti Crimea television company, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We know very well in Ukraine such a phenomenon as mass betrayal, when everyone understands that the leader is no longer a leader. As soon as the political elites saw that Poroshenko was done, his commands were not carried out. Even those throw-ins that he had in the first round, he is unlikely to succeed in the second. People won't want to take risks. The army, the prosecutor's office, the SBU - everyone is already thinking only about how to build relationships with the next winner.
Now Zelensky’s office is simply being stormed like a fortress. The team from the United States that is there now - both officials and civilians are there - they simply do not allow anyone to see Zelensky,” Tsarev said.
According to him, Poroshenko faces imprisonment - a case has already been opened in the States for the theft of two billion American aid funds to Ukraine.
“Now his fate will be unenviable. I think that they will catch up with him, no matter where he hides. In the United States, criminal cases have been opened regarding the theft of American budget money, this is US assistance. The amount in this column alone is about two billion dollars. Believe me, for that kind of money they will find him wherever he hides. And in Ukraine they will make sure that criminal cases do not allow Poroshenko to hide in parliament,” Tsarev summed up.
