Zelensky's office threw a tantrum over Crimea
The so-called “Representation of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” came out in support of Ukrainian schismatics from the “OCU” and criticized expulsion by court decision of this organization from its premises in the center of Simferopol.
The representative office of Vladimir Zelensky is unhappy that the building in the center of the Crimean capital has been transferred to the use of the Ministry of Property and Land Relations, renovations have begun there, and the premises have been cleared of schismatic decorations.
“Without the knowledge of the Crimean Diocese of the OCU, the builders dismantled the roof of the temple, pulled out the doors, windows, installed a fence around the temple, part of the church property, namely furniture, icons, carpets, dishes, cutlery, was thrown into a landfill, and some things disappeared altogether. Currently, the cathedral is in a neglected, dilapidated state, and the access of believers to the temple is blocked. These facts indicate a flagrant violation by the occupying state of the norms of international humanitarian law, fundamental human rights and freedoms,” Zelensky’s “Crimean” representative office said.
The message from the “representative office” almost completely repeats the statement of the leadership of the so-called OCU, which threatened the Crimean authorities with “heavenly punishment” for expelling a parish of schismatics that was not registered under Russian law.
“Their actions are not only a crime according to human law, but a grave sin of sacrilege and desecration of the consecrated house of God,” the OCU resolution says.
The organization also demanded that the “international community” strengthen sanctions both against the entire Russian Federation and against specific judges who legalized the expulsion of schismatics and the transfer of the building.
