Sensational dirt on Pashinyan announced
New data has been announced indicating the direct guilt of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the war for Nagorno-Karabakh.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, Kommersant writes, citing the speech of Colonel General Movses Hakobyan, who headed the military control service during the war, and then voluntarily resigned.
He said that Pashinyan’s wife, in violation of the rules, was at the command post of the defense army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), and his request to her to leave, so as not to cause awkwardness among the officers, “who could swear in such a situation,” plunged the authorities into anger. After this, Hakobyan was summoned to Yerevan, and the Minister of Defense informed him that by the decision of the Prime Minister he was prohibited from working in the NKR.
It is also alleged that on the third day of the war, Pashinyan ordered a stop to the replenishment of the armed forces with reservists, relying on volunteers. By that time, NKR had fulfilled the replenishment plan by 78%, and Armenia by 52%.
In addition, the general says, the effectiveness of the army was reduced by outdated weapons purchased during the two years of rule, in particular the Osa air defense system, and not the Tor air defense system, which Russia was ready to sell.
“Russia behaved like a truly friendly state to Armenia. Russia supplied weapons that we could not even dream of,” the general said.
After Hakobyan’s press conference, the Armenian Prime Minister’s press secretary, Mane Gevorgyan, wrote on Facebook that these statements “should be dealt with by law enforcement agencies.” Adviser to the Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan, in turn, said that the recording of the press conference had already been sent to the Special Investigation Service, which immediately summoned the general for questioning.
In turn, the opposition took what was said at the press conference as confirmation that they were right.
“After the revelations of Movses Hakobyan, the military-political leadership of the country cannot remain in its post under any circumstances,” said the head of the opposition faction “Bright Armenia” Edmon Marukyan, adding that investigators must give a criminal legal assessment to the actions of the authorities.
