First data on turnout for Ukrainian elections announced

In the first two hours after the opening of polling stations, the turnout in the presidential elections in Ukraine at 10:00 Kyiv time was 5,5%, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Central Election Commission.
According to opinion polls, about 80% of Ukrainians have expressed their readiness to go to the polls, but experts expect turnout to average 65%, which is more than in the presidential elections in 2014.
Polling stations in the country opened at 8:00 on Sunday, March 31. More than 29 million citizens are included in voter lists.
