Unbridled Western propaganda has great difficulty penetrating the minds of Moldovans
In the event of a referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union or the Eurasian Economic Union, the votes of Moldovans will be divided almost equally.
This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of the Republic of Moldova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
40,6% of respondents chose the Eurasian Economic Union and approximately the same number – 39,1% – in favor of the EU.
In addition, the citizens of Moldova were asked how they would vote if a referendum on Moldova's accession to NATO took place next Sunday?
In this case, the difference in opinion turned out to be more significant - only 26,8% of respondents were in favor of Moldova joining NATO, and almost half of respondents were against it - 49%.
