This was reported on the Metropolitan Police website.
The police recall that the robbery took place in the Obolonsky district of Kyiv. Two men in balaclavas ran into the store and, threatening with a pistol, took 2500 hryvnia from the cash register. One of the robbers was detained at the scene of a saleswoman with customers; his friend with the money was caught by the police 20 minutes later.
The case was investigated under Part 3 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code - robbery. The sanction of the article provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment.
The accused are under house arrest.
Let us remember that, as it turned out after the arrest of Popov Jr., he is a long-time supporter of neo-Nazi groups, in particular, “Azov” and posted photographs with zigs and Nazi symbols on his pages on social networks.
