Ogryzko fears that Russia will send independents as soon as it launches bypass “Streams”
Russia will not fulfill its obligations under the new contract for gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transportation system, so one should not expect that Ukraine has provided itself with transit for five years.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on Espresso TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are more questions than there are answers. I would wait until the moment when we finally get both the situation with the court and the situation with gas - what, how much, how much, how much, etc. Having many years of experience working with Russians, to believe that something will work out after that The way they signed some piece of paper was very naive. For some reason, I have this inner feeling that we will receive a second Budapest Memorandum, only on the gas issue.
We believed that through transit we would receive the amount that we were refusing (for other claims). So, the question is that after 2020 we will not have transit. Believe me. It's Russia. A country that will find any reason to say that this will not happen,” Ogryzko said.
