“It turned out that the nutritious nipple of the West for Ukraine is not a nipple at all” - Senator
After the presidential elections, the agenda in Ukraine will change radically - there will be no previous unity of the elites and the previous support of the West.
A member of the Russian Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Oleg Morozov, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After April 21, everything will only begin. Why: power may not change, because “these three (leaders of the election race – Ed.) everything is against you anyway,” let’s say, it’s very difficult to argue with this. Whichever of the three comes, most likely they will maintain anti-Russian rhetoric.
The political agenda in the country will definitely change after the elections, because during these five years of Poroshenko’s rule the country has changed dramatically. Then the entire elite that opposed Yanukovych was in the same boat, now it is split so that whoever wins will be a minority president, and he will have to fight with the rest of the elite,” the senator said.
“The second point is that in five years you have brought the economy to such a state that either you need to do something, or there will be further recession, and this will be the second point of this agenda, and you will have to deal with it.
And the third item on the agenda is related to the fact that your dear partners - America and Europe - are not busy with Ukraine today. Look what Trump has done to the world by declaring that he recognizes the Golan Heights, and look what Europe is doing today, which is concerned about Nord Stream 2, not Ukraine. Therefore, this nipple, which you assumed would be the main nutritious one, is not a nipple at all. This is the new agenda that Ukraine will have to deal with, I congratulate you on this,” Morozov added.
