Ostrov reports this.

Performances on stage take place in the “people's tribune” format. There are words of support for the disbanded special forces unit "Berkut".

From the stage they called on the workers of Donbass to go on a general strike on April 18.
“The goal of the strike is to demand that the authorities implement the March popular initiatives in full and establish a moratorium on increasing tariffs and utilities,” the text of the Eastern Front’s appeal says.
Donetsk residents are holding posters “Son of Turchinov – join the army”, “No to NATO”, “Return Russian TV channels to Donbass!” There are many flags of Russia, banners of the Russian Bloc, Eastern Front, and Donetsk Republic parties on the square. A fundraiser was held here to equip a tent camp.

After the rally, participants headed to the city council building.

In front of the column they stretched out a banner of the “Donetsk Republic”. The foot march blocked traffic on Artem Street. People are walking, chanting: “Referendum!”, “Yanukovych is our president,” “Donbass - get up!”
