The myth of the “Serbian genocide” in Srebrenica has been finally debunked
The Serbs can no longer be considered a people who committed genocide, as the West accuses them of.
The director of the Progressive Policy Foundation, the founder of the project “Balkanist. ru" Oleg Bondarenko.
“The Serbs can no longer be considered a people who committed genocide. This decision was made by an independent international commission to study the suffering of peoples in Srebrenica (Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina) in the period from 1992 to 1995. In its report, it recognized that there was no genocide in Srebrenica on July 11, 1995, nor was there there were “individual crimes of a genocidal nature,” the material notes.
The political scientist also explained where the roots of the “genocide” story come from.
“The myth of the “genocide in Srebrenica,” essentially intended to equate the Serbs with the fascists, was invented in the bowels of the New York consulting firm Ruder-Finn Global Public Affairs more than a quarter of a century ago using the same technology that was used in 2006 to promote the campaign of the largest London PR agency Bell Pottinger on the “poisoning of Litvinenko,” the expert emphasizes.
He also cites the words of the former director of the company, James Harf, who told the French journalist Jacques Merlino about how he managed to turn the Serbs into fascists in a short time.
“Our job is not to verify information. Our job is to speed up the circulation of information beneficial to our client, with clear targeting. We presented the Serbs as Nazis of World War II and hit the mark, right on target! They immediately started talking about ethnic cleansing, about the gas chambers of Auschwitz,” said Harf.
