Lukashenko’s entourage is studying analytics in the Russian liberal media - Tikhanovskaya’s adviser
Belarusian officials from the circle of President Alexander Lukashenko read Russian liberal media.
This became clear after the Ekho Moskvy radio station aired an interview with the self-proclaimed “leader of the Belarusian nation” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, which some analysts considered a signal from the “liberal tower of the Kremlin” to find contact with the Belarusian opposition. However, it did not cause any visible reaction in Russia.
Tikhanovskaya’s adviser Franak Vyachorko said this on Eurorado, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Echo of Moscow" was read by officials. To my surprise, many of them are consumers of the Russian media field. After this interview was given, people started coming out not from Russia, but from Belarus, which turned out to be a definite surprise and a signal that we need to work with Russian media more often and be present there,” says Vyachorko.
He is going to use the Russian liberal media to incite part of his entourage against Lukashenko, as well as Belarusian business, which has suffered from Western sanctions.
