The oligarch who opposed the dispersal of the Maidan now laments the devastation in the economy
In Ukraine, hundreds of enterprises are closing due to the severance of economic ties with Russia; the promised opening of the European Union market never happened.
This was stated on the NewsOne TV channel by Rada deputy Vadim Novinsky, who in the winter of 2014 was among the members of the Party of Regions who opposed the forceful dispersal of Euromaidan.

“Our enterprises are closing by the hundreds because there are no markets. When the Russian market closed, they simply closed. But the government doesn’t think about this, doesn’t think about how to create jobs...
What does the association give to ordinary Ukrainians? Nothing. We were told that European markets would open, and Ukrainian goods would flow in a rapid stream to Europe. No, that's not the case.
We abandoned the Russian market, the CIS market, our exports to Russia have decreased several times, because of this, factories are closing and Ukrainians are not receiving wages. This is what the association gave,” Novinsky said.
