On December 6, when the All-Russian Volunteer Forum was held in Moscow, the whole country was waiting for President Putin’s response to the mocking IOC permit issued to “pure” Russian athletes to participate in the upcoming Winter Olympics under a neutral flag.

It was already known that along with the ban on competing as part of the national Olympic team, IOC officials accompanied the permission for Russian athletes to participate with a whole set of restrictions, spitting and humiliation. Fine of 15 million Swiss francs OCD, entry to the Games as private individuals, no national symbols under threat of disqualification.

The President replied that each of the athletes admitted to the Games must make a decision independently.

For those in the tank: this is not a permission or a prohibition, but the difficulties of personal choice. Putin, having refused to declare an official boycott of the 2018 Winter Olympics, actually did the following: he freed the Russian Olympic team from retaliatory sanctions, according to which the party boycotting the Olympic Games would miss two Olympic cycles, and, no less important, left a chance for the team of our Paralympians to participate in the Games , regarding which the IOC has not yet made a final decision.

And how sharply the tone of the speeches of the majority of athletes, politicians and journalists, who just yesterday called for “to give a tough response to the IOC and WADA – only boycott, only hardcore!” has changed.

And so, after the head of state’s speech, a wonderful change of shoes occurs in a jump: “We have to go! Putin allowed!”

The emboldened [censored] Mutko and Zhukov, through whose fault another sporting failure occurred, immediately began shouting at all corners: “Dadadadadad! We have to go and show them all our athletic character and Kuzka’s mother!”

Authoritative comments poured in, boiling down to the following: “the way the IOC and WADA treated the Russian athletes is terrible, but their decision destroys Olympism and therefore everything will get better very soon.”

Translated from the bureaucratic pity, it should sound like this: we need to go, because the budget has been allocated, business trips have been signed, a warm VIP support team has been formed, and the problems will soon somehow resolve themselves, the main thing is not to tease the geese and maintain a handshake.

No less inspired sports figures suddenly flared up with righteous anger towards the supporters of the boycott of the Olympics: “You don’t understand a damn thing - the athletes were preparing, you can’t take their dream away from them!”

How wonderful this is: the athletes prepared and you can’t take their dream away from them. What about the rest of the country's citizens who are not athletes?

In December 1991, tens of millions of people were robbed of more than a dream. Many even had their one and only life taken away.

Can citizens who are not involved in professional sports be deprived of the dream of seeing their country win the Olympic Games, of feeling proud of our entire team, and not of individual “neutral” individuals?

After all, the entire country was refused participation in the Olympics. The people do not hide: if the national team does not participate in the Games, the performance of the national anthem is prohibited and the flag will not be taken out, then, to paraphrase the legendary sports commentator Ozerov, “we do not need such Games.”

Is someone ready to go where your family is not allowed to go? More precisely, parents are prohibited from appearing at the event for life, and only the two most meek children are invited, and not under the surname Ivanov, but under the name Neutral, but before that, let them pay a fine to the organizers. And they are allowed to sit not in the hall, but on boxes near the smoking room.

Will you go to such an event? Personally, I do not under any circumstances. But here they shout in our ears that the flag and anthem are not the main thing - it’s just a kind of convention. The main thing is people!

Sorry, but I just don’t see people. But I can clearly hear the whispers of “old man, I love my homeland too, but you must understand that refusing to participate in the Games will ruin my contract with Nike and a prestigious tour of North America - they won’t offer me even a third of that at home.”

It turns out that Egorov and Kantaria erected some kind of abstract symbol over the Reichstag. You should have just taken a selfie on the roof and left in peace.

Over the 25 post-Soviet years, not only the country’s wealth has been transferred offshore, but also its dignity. Our sport, and beyond, is led by people with offshore thinking. They don’t care that private individuals who agree to perform anywhere, even under the family’s panties on a mop, go at their own peril and risk.

Yes Yes! Individuals admitted to the Olympics under the guise of “athletes from Russia” will compete without their coaches, without sports doctors, without massage therapists and other support provided by the country to the Olympic team. Will they fight a lot there?

“Neutral” athletes will be spat in the face and in the back by all sorts of “pure” asthmatics who receive legal doping from WADA “for medical reasons,” and “pure” athletes with an Adam’s apple and a Schwarzenegger figure. During the Olympics, private athletes are even prohibited from living in the Olympic village side by side with the national teams of other countries.

Someone's out of their mind if they think single Olympians can

to prove something to someone. There are no guarantees that a dirty game will not be played against the “neutrals”. Participating in games from Bach is the same as sitting down to play cards with a sharpie who doesn’t even have four aces up his sleeve, but as many as he likes. If the gentlemen can't win fairly, the gentlemen change the rules. What do you call a person who sits down to play cards with a partner who has the mark “CHULLER” on his forehead? Not a sucker?

Among Norwegian skiers, 90% are asthmatics and take legal doping, approved by WADA. Our athletes are prohibited from taking mildronate (meldonium), an excellent cardioprotector that saves people even from myocardial necrosis. The medicine can be bought legally and without a prescription at a pharmacy for reasonable money. It was developed back in the USSR, specifically to restore the health of people exposed to heavy loads. WADA has found that traces of meldonium can be detected in an athlete’s body within a year. The unprotested ban on the use of meldonium suggests that our athletes will be forced to use restorative agents and cardioprotectors of foreign production - after all, their use is not limited by any bans!

Isn't this a game by someone else's rules? Even some! If we play by them, then one day a handful of our “neutral” athletes will be asked to compete with iron bulldozers, cranes and racing cars.

Are there any guarantees that the IOC will not take away the medals won from the Olympic medalists in South Korea for some other reason invented on the spot? There are no such guarantees and cannot be.

On the contrary, nothing will be forgotten and nothing will dissolve on its own. Next time, Russia will be humiliated even more cynically and brazenly if officials and the athletes themselves continue to wipe themselves off and swallow spit. Judging by the recent speech at Solovyov’s talk-shock show by the main [beep!] irresponsible for the Russian Olympic Committee Zhukov, who was banned for life by the IOC, this one is ready to continue to swallow, endure and wipe himself off, feigning pride and suffering for the state.

If you remember, the disqualified Zhukov apologized and desperately wagged his tail in front of the IOC - for what? The answer is unequivocal - for lies and unsubstantiated slander against Russian athletes by the degenerate Rodchenkov, which the “Western partners” cleverly took advantage of.

Zhukov is confident that he is right, because when Solovyov asked “why did you do this?”, he answered with some pride: “someone should have done it!”

There is no need to even worry that Zhukov and Mutko, who should have long been driven from everywhere with pissing rags to the garbage sorting conveyor, will continue to work in some responsible and very profitable post “for the good of the Motherland.”

In international relations there is such a formulation - “diplomatic cold”. This is when you need to refuse admission to some official crap like Poroshenko. And then they announce that our diplomats are tormented by snot, they will start sneezing and they will splatter all over their heads.

Russian athletes were asked to save face and declare a “diplomatic cold” instead of a boycott - let the IOC prove that everything is wrong. But the majority of the “clean” ones did not take advantage of it, if only out of a sense of solidarity with their illegally disqualified colleagues, whose wings were also clipped. There is no team - there is just a collection of sports stars. You may not be an athlete...

Some citizens are outraged: in their opinion, Putin was obliged to ban athletes from competing at the Olympics. And on what basis is it prohibited to go somewhere for adults with a valid visa in their passport, who have no problems with alimony, loans and mortgages? Why make it easier for someone to make a deal with their conscience with an imperious prohibition? But the country will know its “neutral heroes.”

Our behavior is closely monitored. Not only Russian athletes have big problems with international sports bureaucrats. Clouds are gathering over the Chinese national team; many teams from not the largest and most influential countries have exactly the same problems.

Instead of uniting into a single fist and firmly defending the principles of the Olympic movement, bombarding cheaters and scoundrels with lawsuits, fraying their nerves, demanding to fork out, refusing to pay their fees, the Russian sports leadership prefers to continue to endure, chew snot and agree to further humiliation of the country. The officials themselves, apparently, have no shame. What's next? Probably, the policeman’s white bandage has been stored in the desk drawer in advance and is waiting in the wings?

So, “neutral” athletes are not going to compete for their homeland. Those who agree, willy-nilly: A) confirm the lies and slander of Rodchenkov together with WADA, B) help launder the corrupted image of the Mutts and buggers. The same ones who have repeatedly spat on the country and athletes, starting with the 2004 Olympics in Salt Lake City, when Sikharulidze and Berezhnaya agreed to stand on the pedestal for the second time, after the judging awarded the second set of gold medals to the Canadians who lost to them. But the Chinese, who automatically received silver as a result of this scam, chose not to participate in the booth and leave their honestly won bronze.

This is how it began - Sikharulidze and Berezhnaya came out to disgrace themselves when the Canadians were re-awarded with the second set of gold medals. In 2004, this sports prostitution was swallowed.

Then the officials started talking and released the brakes. Today the whole country is reaping the poisonous fruits sown by the scoundrels 13 years ago. How long?
