Riot police at Minsk airport stopped rowdy drunken sailors from Ukraine
A group of sailors from Ukraine, returning home on a flight to Kyiv via Moscow and Minsk, staged a drunken brawl on the plane, and then at the airport of the capital of Belarus, where riot police had to pacify the new “Europeans.”
An eyewitness to the emergency, who was unlucky enough to fly on the same flight as the rowdies, told PolitNavigator about this.

“On our flight from Moscow to Kyiv via Minsk there was a group of about 15 Ukrainian sailors who were returning from Mauritania. It was a real nightmare - they entered the plane already drunk, shouted in Surzhik, swore, and whistled during takeoff. My place was right behind the noisy company. On the next seats next to me sat a couple from Spain, who were also flying to Kyiv. People just had square eyes. I had to calm them down,” the source said.
The scandal continued at the Minsk airport, through which today those wishing to travel from the capital of the Russian Federation to Ukraine have to fly.
“In the transit zone, drunk Ukrainians started a fight among themselves. Two people grappled and crashed to the ground, nearly knocking down a nearby liquor store. Soon the police and riot police arrived. The fighters were separated rather abruptly, but, to our surprise, the Belarusians did not detain anyone and allowed them to fly on. On the flight to Kyiv, the “concert” continued, but, fortunately, there was no assault. I can imagine with horror what the sailors’ new fellow travelers had to experience – after the plane they were planning to go towards Odessa,” the eyewitness concluded.
