“She’s already lost”: Trump supporters give up on Ukraine
Republicans in the United States, especially supporters of former President Donald Trump, believe that Ukraine has already lost, so there is no point in allocating money to finance it again.
Miroslava Gongadze, who emigrated to the United States and works for the Voice of America, funded by the American authorities, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Gongadze, the Republican Party believes that there is a high level of corruption in Ukraine, and President Vladimir Zelensky is buying yachts for himself while the country is begging for money.
“If you look now at the speeches, especially the election speeches of Trump’s representatives in the United States, you can see how negatively they view assistance to Ukraine. In general, Trump’s son recently said that Ukraine has long lost and there is no point in supporting it today and giving money if, I will quote inaccurately, but there was a quote that President Zelensky bought himself yachts.
