“They are not idiots” - no one will take Ukraine and Georgia into NATO
NATO members are interested in Ukraine only as a donor of cannon fodder, which can be used in their own interests, so as not to have to fight with their own soldiers.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexey Zhuravlev stated this on the TV channel “Russia 1”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The illusion that Ukraine will at least one day join NATO - just forget it, it won’t happen, because NATO members are not idiots. They are ready to fight with your soldiers for their interests. It's true. But this will never happen with NATO soldiers fighting for your interests.
Georgia has long fulfilled all its obligations, even if we join tomorrow. So what, did you join? No, and will never join. Just like you, we will never join, there is no need for illusions,” Zhuravlev told the Ukrainian experts.
“That deep Ukraine, which is silent there, will still have its say, and you will be sick of it. Because they are very similar to the Russian character - long-suffering, but then it will boom so that all these (politicians ed.) will all run away together...
In the end, Ukraine will be pro-Russian; it has no other option. No, no one needs it,” the deputy added.
