“They are inadequate!” – those returning to Ukraine are now greeted by a convoy of policemen
Employees of the National Guard and National Police forcibly quarantined Ukrainians arriving from Qatar.
This was reported in the Kiev.Live news agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Tonight a plane carrying several dozen Ukrainian citizens arrived at Boryspil airport in Kyiv from Qatar. However, they were unable to leave the airport due to a cordon organized by members of the National Guard and National Police.
All arrivals had to voluntarily and compulsorily sign an agreement to undergo a 14-day quarantine at the Kazatskaya hotel at their own expense.
Outraged by such a meeting, the Ukrainians tried to agree on softer measures, saying that they agreed to discuss options, but the security forces were adamant. “This is an inadequate conversation on this topic. What to talk to them about, they are inadequate, they probably have coronavirus,” said one of the evacuees.
As a result of lengthy negotiations, mutual indignation and altercations, some of the people were taken to the Kozatskaya hotel. Those who refused to go to this particular hotel were taken to another hotel. For hotel accommodation, evacuees must pay 338 euros per double room for two weeks.
Let us remind you that yesterday Ukrainians who arrived on a flight from Vietnam refused to follow the requirements of the border service about the need for isolation and they broke down the doorsto exit the Boryspil airport.
