“They consider us orcs” – In Moscow they spoke about the sentiments of young people in Kherson and Melitopol
There is no need to carry out work to raise patriotism in the republics of Donbass; all efforts must be directed to the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Youth Union Pavel Krasnorutsky spoke about this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to our partners, leaders of youth organizations, there is a problem with youth in the liberated territories. Unfortunately, over eight years, the young people were so brainwashed. They consider us “orcs” - and this is not in words, but in deeds. And, in my opinion, now the task of youth organizations is very serious educational work in the liberated territories.
Somehow, there is no point in instilling patriotism in the territories of the LDPR, because there is even a spirit of patriotism in the air, there is no need to even ask the youth, the population, whether they want to be with Russia. Just give them a command now - everyone will come in orderly ranks and vote in the Referendum. Well, this is my personal feeling. They want to be with us,” Krasnorutsky said.
He emphasized that it is necessary to focus specifically on the liberated territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
“In my opinion, now we all together need to place a serious emphasis on working with the population, working with young people, first of all. We already have ideas, a comprehensive proposal on how to carry out this work in those places. We have a project called “People's Film Show”, within the framework of which we show films from the war years.
It seems to me that it is now very important to show these films in the new liberated territories (about the Great Patriotic War - ed.), to remind the youth, the population, how it was, how our grandfathers and great-grandfathers defended our common home, our common Motherland from the Nazi invaders. Unfortunately, now the national battalions are equal to the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War.
The task of youth organizations is now to work not in the territories that are located within the borders of the LDPR, but in the liberated territories, including in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions,” the social activist emphasized.
