“They are allies of the aggressor!” – The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demands the introduction of sanctions against India and China
Ukraine wants the West to impose sanctions against all countries that buy oil and gas from Russia.
Deputy Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Tochitsky stated this at the Second Black Sea Conference on the security of the “Crimean platform” in Sofia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The results of sanctions are not immediate. After some time, we will see how Russia will be thrown back economically by several years. But sanctions should be not only against the Russian economy, but also against proxy countries that continue to support Russia in this unprovoked aggression against Ukraine. Because if we don’t deal with Russia’s allies, we now have no results from these sanctions,” Tochitsky was indignant.
He complained that many countries in the Black Sea region and beyond continue to buy Russian energy.
