They are back: Western businessmen are again planning to extract shale gas in the Donbass
The land of Ukraine will be subjected to another act of vandalism for the sake of dashing profit. In the east, fields are sown with ammunition, in the north, for the sake of amber mining, sandy deserts have been created instead of forests, in the west, due to barbaric deforestation, mountain valleys are constantly flooded. Now the Donbass fertile land will be turned into a desert saturated with toxic chemicals. We are talking about resuming plans for shale gas production. The tender was won by Yuzgas, founded in June of this year in the Virgin Islands for this project. It is a subsidiary of the Emerging Energy investment fund, also launched in 2016, founded by the financial company Emerstone Capital Partners. The beneficiary of the tender turned out to be Canadian businessman Yaroslav Kinakh. In addition to the fact that transparent political motives for the decision of the tender organizers are visible, because Poroshenko recently concluded an agreement with Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, to promote Canadian business in Ukraine, corruption motives are also visible. The tender was clearly held for one player with a charter capital of a thousand euros, but promising hundreds of millions of investments.
