“They are healthy people”: In Kyiv they justify the burial of HIV-infected people
Those infected with HIV are in all respects full-fledged and healthy people, and must serve in the army on an equal basis with everyone else.
The famous Ukrainian doctor and TV presenter Yevgeny Komarovsky stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He was asked to comment on the idea of eliminating the partial fitness category for military service.
“At some stage in his life, the young man was diagnosed with HIV infection. He feels fine, there are no complaints, but he has been diagnosed with the human immunodeficiency virus.
If nothing is done about him, he will develop AIDS. And he will die. But in our time, there is already a protocol for what needs to be done - a person must constantly take the medicine, he will not develop AIDS, and he will be as healthy as everyone else. Only he has to take a pill once a day.
Please tell me, can such a person be a drone operator? Why not? I'm trying to understand: why not? – Komarovsky is sure.
Thank you!
