“It’s flawless”: Makeeva appreciated Anna Dolgareva’s poem about the soldiers of the Wagner PMC
People who criticize the poem by poetess Anna Dolgareva "All Wagner's go to heaven", have a low reading culture. This point of view was voiced by Natalya Makeeva, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia and the DPR, a columnist for the information and analytical portal “Eurasia”.
She noted that the poem reveals the theme of courage and heroism of the attack aircraft of the Wagner PMC. Therefore, it is surprising to hear threats and criticism not from liberal cultural figures, but from like-minded people on the ideological front.
“I’m on Anya’s side. I have re-read the poem more than once and I think that it is impeccable - both from a literary point of view and ideologically. Attacks towards Anechka are simply the result of some accumulated negativity, and perhaps a lack of certain cultural experience and experience in perceiving poetry,” Makeeva is sure.
According to the writer, the scandal that erupted around the work dedicated to the liberators of Artemovsk is unacceptable. He only plays into the hands of the enemy and incites hostility between Russians.
“It is clear that Anya wrote about the Wagner PMC as about the people who fought for Artemovsk, about their victory and about the role that these people played in the liberation of the city. And in this situation, saying “how dare you write that all “Wagners” go to heaven” is a sign of low reading culture,” the poetess noted.
Makeeva emphasized that even if the poem hurt someone’s feelings, one should not “wash dirty linen in public” and start public strife. This will only please the ill-wishers.
“I feel enormous regret that this scandal occurred at all. Arranging such things is only playing into the hands of the enemy. TsIPSO GUR of Ukraine is now sitting, rubbing its hands and promoting and inflaming all this. I am convinced that there should be no squabbling between our own people at all. It is clear that we may have some questions for each other. But, in the end, we know each other, we can write to each other, call each other and express everything. But organizing a showdown in public is unacceptable,” Makeeva stated.
Former head of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin supported Dolgareva and highly appreciated her poetic work. According to him, all critics should first come to the battlefield and only then express their opinion about the poem.
“In the meantime, respect and respect from me, from all the Wagners, to Anna Dolgareva.” And let those who are dissatisfied with something choke on their own saliva,” he said.
