The UN will give Ukraine recommendations on protecting human rights

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein, promised on March 21 to speak in detail about the human rights situation in Ukraine and provide recommendations for protecting rights in the civil space, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He announced this during the annual report on the state of human rights in the world, DW reports.
In addition, according to al-Hussein, a second report on the human rights situation in Crimea is being prepared.
The Commissioner stressed that his office is trying to ensure that human rights monitoring mechanisms are in place on the peninsula.
