UN against "Peacemaker". Filaret got into a huge scandal
Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights recommended Kyiv should immediately conduct an investigation into the activities of the “Peacemaker” website, which, in violation of basic human rights, publishes personal data about people suspected by the resource of “separatism.” The corresponding recommendation is contained in the final part of the report published in Geneva on Tuesday on violations of rights and freedoms in Ukraine.
And this means that not only Poroshenko, who gathered at the UN Assembly, and not only the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Avakov, under whose cover “Peacemaker” works, got into trouble with this peacemaker. According to the good Ukrainian tradition, the unrecognized, but truly Ukrainian “Kiev Patriarchate” has once again jumped on a rake.
Do you remember how “Patriarch of Ukraine” Filaret awarded the Torez criminal authority Abalmaz at Easter (!) 2015, who was then urgently retrained as a “defender of Ukraine” - commander of the special company of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Tornado”?
The same one who, two months later, was put on trial for looting, torture and mass “incredible in its sadism and perversion” (this is a quote from the definition of military prosecutor general Matios) rape of citizens in Ukrainian-controlled territory, including children!
The same medal “For Sacrifice and Love” was awarded to the “patriarch” and Nazi from “Aidar” Zavirukha, whose “sacrificial love” was soon particularly evident in the shooting of a traffic police post near Kiev, which resulted in the death of two law enforcement officers.
And a month ago, “Kiev Patriarchate” “consecrated” and “blessed” the “Peacemaker” icon. The name for the offering was chosen with a “subtle” hint: “The All-Seeing Eye.”
We’ll talk about the “grace of the image” later. Now let us note that an organization with a religious status that claims to teach the nation the commandment “Do not judge, lest you be judged” is not at all embarrassed by the fact lynching over Oles Buzina and Oleg Kalashnikov, which was carried out thanks to “the great work that the team of peacekeepers is doing,” namely, entering their personal data (down to their home address) into the open database of the site. The latter is, among other things, a crime of the Law “On the Protection of Personal Data”. The most recent addition to this database is the address of Svetlana Pikta, who is pregnant with her second child. She, you see, dared to doubt the advisability of collecting humanitarian aid for the “ATO heroes” announced at the school where her children study. Now jackals from neo-Nazi groups are trying to break into Svetlana’s apartment, visit her husband’s work in the radiation medicine laboratory for “preventive conversations” and organize flash mobs under their house. With complete inaction of law enforcement agencies.
And what kind of reaction could there be from the authorities if the curator of “Peacemaker” is Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Avakov, who does not hesitate to state that the resource was created “to help the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU.”
Как has opened Gerashchenko himself literally the next day after the murder of Oles Buzina, the elimination of the writer became part of a “special operation code-named “Gyulchatay - open a personal message””: “The purpose of the information special operation was to identify as many Russian and Ukrainian terrorists as possible who, by visiting the website “Peacemaker”, documented themselves and their accomplices in their crimes by typing their full names in the “Search” window...” That is, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (and then already a legislator - a member of parliament) admits that everyone interested in whether they were in the “Peacemaker” database was automatically registered as “terrorists”. The same “terrorists” that Buzina obviously was. What Pictha is, and what, judging by the presence on the Peacemaker, your humble servant is. Svetlana and I even joked the other day that thanks to this “directory of adequate citizens of Ukraine,” when going to visit each other, we can now not call back to clarify the address. In general, an almost ready-made social network - just add functions, and will be no different from the Ukrainian segment of the well-known social network, which, by the way, is administered by informants of the same “Peacemaker”.
Note that the “national church” sanctified the activities of informers after the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, literally tormented by Oles Buzina’s mother (Valentina Pavlovna really doesn’t sleep at night when another comrade or colleague of Olesya gets on the lists) addressed to the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (i.e. to Gerashchenko’s superiors) with the demand “in accordance with Art. 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”... to identify persons involved in the illegal storage, use and dissemination of personal data of Ukrainian citizens on the “Peacemaker” website, bring them to criminal liability, and also take measures to block access of users on the territory of Ukraine to this Internet resource."
US State Department "worried incident" (this is a year after the murder of Oleg and Oles!) after the publication by "Peacemaker" of personal data of Ukrainian "journalists" completely loyal to the regime and, above all, to the American Embassy, as well as their colleagues from Reuters, AFP, BBC, The Guardian ", "Al-Jazeera", who dared to receive accreditation in the LDPR. After this similar statement The EU Ambassador to Ukraine also took the liberty of doing so. It is not surprising that the Kiev prosecutor’s office took up the truce and announced on an investigation “into the fact of obstruction of the professional activities of journalists by publishing their personal data.”
Every other day, May 13, 2016 “Peacemaker” объявил about termination of work. True, it’s peculiar.
However, after statements SBU on refusal to open a case against “Peacemaker” (they say that among those accredited in the LDPR there are indeed people “undercover using a journalist’s ID”, according to which “after the undeclared war ends, within the framework of the current legislation, certain actions will be carried out in order to understand what these pseudo-journalists were doing”), as well as after the lack of reaction from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the ombudsman’s appeal, and - most importantly - due to the confirmation of the fact that the prosecutorial branch of power headed by Poroshenko’s man is not a decree for Avakov, the latter’s adviser perked up. Already on May 19, 2016 Gerashchenko said: “The volunteers of the “Peacemaker” project, after the enormous support that was provided to it by hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian patriots, decided to resume their work, no matter what! P.S. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger!”
One should not assume that the mention of “the enormous support of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian patriots” is an exaggeration. The activities of “Peacemaker” are really in demand in Ukrainian society, as can be judged by hundreds and thousands of “likes” and tens and hundreds of shares on social networks under the calls of leading Ukrainian LOMs (public opinion leaders) calling on “Peacemaker” to pay attention to one or another dissatisfied with the regime .
Well, now, after the “theological” justification of the “best features of the nation” revealed in the works of “The Peacemaker,” what should he fear at all?
As Metropolitan Ioan, the initiator of the promotion of “peacemakers in Ukrainian”, chairman of the “Synodal Directorate of Military Clergy of the UOC of the Kiev Patriarchate”, said, “the team of “peacemakers” is doing a great job, helping to distinguish and separate truth from lies”: “God, being the truth itself, wants, so that we live in truth. Therefore, God strengthens and supports everyone who fights for this truth. This icon will be a support for everyone who exposes lies and allows Ukraine to know the truth... When we consecrated the image of the “all-seeing eye of God,” then by our faith and by Divine grace this image acquired such properties that our prayer will be heard by God.”
Let us dwell briefly on the theological analysis of the “qualifications” of Philaret’s ministers.”

This icon will be a support for everyone who lies and allows Ukrainians to know the truth.” The canonical priest explains: “When the Orthodox call Christ the Truth, they do not mean some abstract ideas or facts, but speak directly about the God-Man - the Hypostasis of the Holy Trinity. About Truth we speak not “what”, but “Who”. Comrade “bishop” substitutes concepts: he identifies those very facts or ideas with the personality of God (Truth).
As for the “deciphering” by the disguised “metropolitan” of the icon itself, which was painted by a certain “famous Ukrainian artist and icon painter Yuri Nikitin,” then, as Fr. Andrey, “in the second circle it is not “condemning people,” but one face, but with many words. True, whose eyes are not clear. But in any case, not “people’s faces”.
Faceless people are depicted on icons only in icons of the Last Judgment. The mention of “incorporeal forces that unite the Divine and human world” is an interpretation at the level of a rural parish school. The angelic world has its own ministry. And finally, “the image of the almighty God who blesses everyone.” This is outright stupidity. The Ancient of Days depicts Jesus Christ. God the Father is not depicted. In general, the icon has dubious theological significance. It is too symbolic, divorced from Revelation and represents not so much an image of the prototype as a human fantasy for a number of biblical subjects.”
Well, whatever the comrades’ fantasies about Divine truth, such are the ideas about “exposing untruths,” which, in their opinion, is what “Peacemaker” does, “giving the opportunity to Ukrainians to know the truth.” He works, in fact, following the precepts of Filaret himself. We remember the latter’s sermon to justify the punitive operation: “Donbass must atone for its sin with suffering and blood.” And the “sin”, that is, the “untruth” of the Donbass people, is that they... voted in the referendum on the federalization of Ukraine!
Throughout the democratic world, a referendum is the highest form of direct law-making of the people, the most important institution of direct democracy, and the federal structure is a form of administrative-territorial division in such “lights of the free world” as the USA, Germany, Switzerland, etc. But only in Ukraine is this a “sin” that gives the right to eradicate it with the punishing sword of the “ATO”.
