The UN puts an end to dying Ukraine
In the coming decades, Ukraine will face a demographic catastrophe and population extinction. Member of Parliament Viktor Galasyuk stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

He voiced a forecast published by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, according to which in the near future the population of Ukraine will become less than 30 million people.
“This forecast means that, according to the baseline scenario, in a few decades there will be fewer than 30 million Ukrainians. Think about this figure - this is a demographic, economic and social catastrophe that the UN predicts for us. If this scenario comes true, it will be the collapse of the country that you and I knew,” the politician laments.
“This is a strategic impasse into which the country is being led by the government, which with one hand is collecting IMF loans to eat, and with the other hand is preserving old corruption schemes and economic inefficiency, postponing the radical systemic reforms that the country needs, resorting to propaganda. The authorities steal the future of the country, confidence in the future, hope and a sense of stability from every citizen. No one can be sure that our children will live better than us if this scenario comes true,” Galasyuk warned.
Let us recall that immediately after the declaration of independence, the population of Ukraine was 52 million people.
