In recent weeks, representatives of Petro Poroshenko have arrived in Moscow and the United States to conduct negotiations on the provision of security guarantees. This may be confirmation that Poroshenko fears removal from power and is preparing for himself a “reserve airfield”.

“I am not an expert on the internal political affairs of Ukraine, but I know that he sends people who move from one European capital to New York. And they, apparently, also come to Moscow, demanding, one way or another, safety for Peter. Because he understands that at any second his days could be numbered or terminated. So Poroshenko is trying to gain support. And since he does this, it means that he knows much better than we do that he has serious problems, including impeachment,” Prilepin said.
