Dangerous tours: Ukraine has further limited the performances of Russian artists

In Ukraine, a new version of the law on tours was adopted, limiting tours around the country for Russian performers.

According to the head of the parliamentary committee on culture, Yatsenyuk member Nikolai Knyazhitsky, any artist whose work contains positive reviews about Russia or the Russian leadership will be banned, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When holding tour events, calls for the propaganda of separatism, communist or national socialist, totalitarian regimes and their symbols are not allowed; events that popularize or propagandize the aggressor state or its authorities are not allowed; holding a tour event in which a person is a participant is prohibited. , included in the list of persons posing a threat to national security,” Knyazhitsky said.

And his colleague from Lyashkov, Andrei Lozovoy, even proposed expelling Ukrainian artists performing in Russia.

“We all see that while our real war for independence continues, the 23rd war that Muscovy is waging against Ukraine, because without Ukraine, without Kiev, the Russian world is impossible, we see, on the one hand, as great Ukrainians, how our artists devote their time, attention, refuse large fees “behind the curb” and go to support our soldiers at the front, such artists as Anastasia Prikhodko, Zlata Ognevich, Ivan Lenyo... and those cultural prostitutes who have renounced their Ukrainian roots travel to Muscovy, like Taechka Povaliyka, like Ani Lorak, like Loboda and other bastards, to be driven to the neck. If they exchanged the Ukrainian cause, the Ukrainian state, culture and history for a fee from some chicken factory somewhere in Volgograd, then let them stay there, they are not Ukrainians,” said the Lyashkovets.

According to Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kirilenko, tour organizers who invited artists who performed in Crimea will also be punished. They will also be required to notify the SBU of their intentions to invite Russian artists a month in advance.

“Recently, there have been a lot of cases when Russian touring performers perform in occupied Crimea, illegally crossing the border of Ukraine, and a few days later they perform in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson and so on, and also earn money here. This happens because the organizers of tour events do not bear any responsibility for those whom they invite from Russia. Therefore, the law provides for an article when the organizer of a concert, festival or anything else notifies the SBU 30 days in advance that he cannot hold a concert without Russian performers and invites them. The issue is being studied, and when the SBU does not see any grounds for preventing these artists from entering the territory of Ukraine, such an event takes place,” Kirilenko said.

Tymoshenko member Sergei Sobolev criticized the law, saying that the government professes double standards, adopting such acts, while itself trading with the Russian Federation.

“This bill once again forces us to return to the issue of double standards. Those individuals who continue to trade with the aggressor country, who have enterprises on the territory of the aggressor country, who pay funds to the budget of the Russian Federation, which go further to arm gangsters to the teeth and kill our people,” Sobolev said , hinting at the business of Petro Poroshenko and his entourage in the Russian Federation.
