“Our heads of law enforcement agencies should have foreseen the appearance of such weapons,” the expert believes. – Also, we must not forget that the ammunition for large-caliber machine guns is different, penetrating the current combat protection of helicopters. Therefore, it was necessary to think about additional protection.”
The President of the Helicopter Federation is not happy with the weapons on Ukrainian helicopters and proposes to replace them with foreign models.
“Then they will be no worse than the Russian ones, and, perhaps, better, since the Russians do not have such means of destruction as air-to-air, air-to-ground, which they have abroad,” Vladimir Shevchenko is sure. – The same with airplanes – it is necessary to install new high-precision weapons. You need to fight these bandits and separatists with precision weapons. And so it needs to be used from high-altitude and low-flying aircraft, as well as from helicopters.”
