Over the past night, the positions of the Ukrainian military were fired upon 10 times, the ATO press center reports.
“During the day and night along the line of combat, our troops spotted enemy drones 15 times. In the Donetsk region, near Pervomaisk, such an aircraft was shot down by air defense forces. In the Mariupol direction near the village of Shirokino, from 3 to 4 a.m., the enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance of our positions in force through assault operations,” said ATO speaker Anatoly Stelmakh.
At the same time, during the night the number of attacks on positions of ATO forces decreased slightly, the ATO headquarters notes. “However, the enemy continues to use multiple launch rocket systems and artillery. Thus, the villages of Vodyanoye and Stepnoye were fired from “Grads”, from artillery and mortars – Shirokino, Peski, Avdeevka and twice – Vodyanoye,” Stelmakh claims.
In turn, the militias on social networks report that Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk, Makeevka are again under fire from Ukrainian artillery. There are battles along the entire Donbass defense line, and Mariupol was shaken by cannonade all night.
