Donbass militias against liberals in Moscow? Bad idea!
The idea to involve the “Union of Donbass Volunteers” in suppressing possible unrest caused by liberals in Moscow, is a bad and harmful initiative. Former DPR militia member Yuri Kovalchuk writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator.
…Let me just remind you that the right to violence always remains with the state. By declaring that members of the “Union of Donbass Volunteers” are ready to exercise this right, the organization itself is cutting off its own roots - if you remember, the militia opposed the violence of nationalists in Kyiv, etc. Then people self-organized into groups to resist the rampant Russophobes.
Today, supposedly, “SDD” is ready to crack down on rallies in Moscow, which, let’s be honest, are not even worth the number of police officers who are involved there. This rotten log will fall apart as soon as the funding runs out. It initially does not excite anyone, including the Western media. Why do the militias disperse them? And will the authors of this idea be at the forefront of the acceleration?
Russia knows and knows how to use the help of the militia. I was not allowed into Syria because of a 20 cm iron in my left leg, but my comrades were there. We are ready to go to Kosovo at any moment – there are already several thousand people willing. We are ready to bite the enemy with our teeth again near Mariupol and towards Avdeevka and Dzerzhinsk in order to move the front line away from the civilian population. And about the dispersal of rallies - no, we haven’t heard.
The militias should not be allowed near the protesting liberals, if only because then the notorious snipers will not be needed - the militias will kill half of the protesters for a living. Seriously, this is not the police, which is limited by laws. These are people who know how and love to kill. The cleansing of the rally there will instantly turn into a bloodbath.
That is, having provoked such a conflict, one can be guaranteed to expect unpleasant pictures on TV, sanctions against Russia, pumping up protest sentiments, etc. Among other things, the marginalization of the LDPR militia. Not to mention the fact that Western “partners” can easily take advantage of this beneficial idea.
Among other things, I want to remind everyone that Russia initially has its own “DND” for all occasions - the Cossacks. I don't believe the police are unable to cope. But, if you need to unofficially disperse the meeting, the Cossacks with their whips are right there. They will obviously manage without “SDD”.
And when such proposals begin to arrive, I want to say only one thing: guys, you are either deliberately provoking (which means you are enemies), or making such statements out of little thought (which means you are idiots).
I bow to the second.
Thank you!
