“Yesterday, in battles west of Donetsk, the army of Novorossiya suffered quite serious losses (perhaps the largest single losses in September) in battles with the troops of the junta,” the militia said in a message posted in the group “Reports from the militia of Novorossiya.”
“The Army of Novorossiya is trying to expand the zone of control to the west of Donetsk, recapturing a number of important settlements,” the militia said. “The junta is now on the defensive there, so attacks lead to increased losses.”
