The militia are strengthening their firing positions and transferring equipment to Ilovaisk and Gorlovka.

Shots from small arms and RPGs at checkpoints near the settlements of Severodontsk and Smolyaninovo. In addition, the ATO headquarters reports that there is a further strengthening of firing positions and that armored vehicles are being transferred to settlements around Donetsk, in particular to Gorlovka, as well as Ilovaisk.

“There is further strengthening and equipment of firing positions, defensive structures, as well as the transfer of armored vehicles to settlements around Donetsk, namely: Gorlovka, Ilovaisk. The main efforts of the terrorists were aimed at holding cities captured by ATO forces and strengthening defensive positions in controlled cities,” the headquarters said.

According to the press center, shelling of positions and checkpoints of anti-terrorist operation forces continues, including from the territory of the Russian Federation. “Representatives of illegal armed groups are trying to keep sections of the state border of Ukraine under control,” noted the ATO headquarters.

At the same time, militias report on social networks that fighting continues near Marinovka, Dubrovka and Amvrosievka. At the same time, the rebels also control at least 60-80 km of the border, as noted in social groups in support of the DPR and LPR.

As Navigator reported, yesterday the Ukrainian flag was raised over Karlivka, Netaylovo and Pervomaisky, but the militias regained Lisichansk.
