The militias do not believe in the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian military

“The Armed Forces of Novorossiya continue to block two large groups of punitive forces in pockets near Zhdanovka and Debaltsevo. Bandera's supporters, trapped near Zhdanovka, continue to launch artillery strikes on residential buildings in the settlements of Olkhovka and Zuevka. The fire is unsystematic, and is probably being conducted solely to raise the morale of the surrounded punitive forces,” reads the militia’s reports posted on social networks.
According to the militia, in Debaltseve the Ukrainian military had attempted to break out of the cauldron the day before by attacking the positions of pro-Russian rebels, but were repulsed, suffering heavy losses.
“It can be stated that the strike groups assembled by the junta under the cover of a truce have been reliably blocked by the troops of Novorossiya. And there is no need to talk about any counter-offensive by Bandera’s followers now. That is, the punitive forces were unable to achieve any advantages through the truce,” reports the group “Reports from the Novorossiya Militia.”
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the militia announced the formation of two new “cauldrons” - near Gorlovka and Debaltseve.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv it was stated that the truce was necessary, among other things, for the regrouping of troops and solving the problem associated with the emergence of “cauldrons”.
