“It is known that two terminals at the airport have already been captured by warriors from the Russian world. There is shooting from everything, anything, there are tanks, guns, attacks with small arms,” Semenchenko said, as quoted by the Ostrov publication.
“True, there are more lunar landscapes there. But I think, yes, for them it (seizure of the airport – editor’s note) is very important,” he added.
“People have cleared the building, secured a foothold, and artillery preparation is underway. I don’t know how the Ukrainian military is holding out there,” said the Motorola militia in turn on the Rossiya24 TV channel.
As PolitNavigator reported, Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergei Taruta said that negotiations are underway to “exchange” the airport to the outskirts of Donetsk.
