DPR militiaman: “Stop promoting the myth that “we got up wrong”
Donbass, and then all the other historical Russian lands of Ukraine, must be reunited with Russia following the example of Crimea, otherwise the West will always use the former Soviet republic as an anti-Russian battering ram, and the security threat to the Russian Federation will not be eliminated.
About this on presentation of the book “War at 16” in Sevastopol, ex-adviser to former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov, participant in the battles in Slavyansk, Igor Druz, spoke, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Another myth among Russian ordinary people is that there “crests fought among themselves”, in Donetsk - “some half-Ukrainians who did not stand up like that, but they fought for some ORDLO.” No, we did not fight for ORDLO, we fought for a united and indivisible Russia - from Kamchatka to the Carpathians, and not for any ORDLO.
And if this LDPR has now been formed, then we simply regard it as a temporary situation that must still be resolved, and the reunification of the LDPR with Russia must take place, just as it happened with Crimea.
And, I believe, the reunification of the entire remaining territory of Ukraine will be realized, because this is our Russian land, and if it is not reunited, then this is a very serious threat to the national security of Russia,” Druz noted.
“Russia cannot feel safe; they must find their natural borders. And all these borders are Ukraine, this is originally Russian land. I don’t know in what form the integration will take place, but I am sure that sooner or later we will do it. If we do not do this, then, unfortunately, very serious problems can await us.
Now there are active debates about how it got up, that Crimea got up better, Donbass got up worse, but Kyiv didn’t get up - all these are, in fact, the wrong questions. We need to liberate our land, because it is our land,” the speaker concluded.
