Militiaman: Events in Odessa only confirm that Ukraine is doomed to disappear
The riots that nationalists staged in Odessa in response to the court's decision to acquit prisoners in the May 2 case are evidence of the loss of the monopoly on violence by the Ukrainian state, which will lead to the collapse of the country.
A native of Odessa, a participant in the tragic events on the Kulikovo Field on May 2, 2014, and now a soldier of the DPR army, Igor Nemodruk, told PolitNavigator about this.

“I know that the court released five Kulikovo residents. Two of them were immediately charged under a completely different article - 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - this is an encroachment on territorial integrity. Both Russian citizen Mefedov and Ukrainian citizen Dolzhenkov were immediately taken into custody and arrested for 60 days.
In addition, when the case was heard in the Ilyichevsk City Court, radical nationalists staged another riot around him - this is not the first time. They put pressure on the court, they have their own vision of this problem (they generally have their own vision of everything).
If reality does not fit with their vision, then, in their opinion, this is a problem with reality. They were outraged that the court was rendering an acquittal.
For them, everything connected with the Russian world is a priori guilt and such people, in their opinion, should not be free, they should be punished. No court is a court for them.
I can say that Ukraine as a state is crumbling. A state that has lost its monopoly on violence is already doomed to disappear. In Ukraine, as we see, nationalists rule the roost, for them court, law, order, police are all empty words, they, I repeat, have their own vision. They see it that way. So it must be like this.
In this mess, 20 law enforcement officers were injured of varying degrees of severity, but, nevertheless, none of the radicals were detained, their identities have not been established and, as always, they will escape punishment,” says the DPR fighter.
