Militiaman: It is no longer possible to push Donbass into Ukraine - even if Medvedchuk rules in Kyiv
Even if a non-anti-Russian government unexpectedly comes to power in Kyiv, the population of Donbass will no longer be able to forgive Ukraine for all the horrors of war, the death of loved ones and the destruction that the Ukrainian army brought.
The militia leader of the Donetsk regional branch of the New Scythians Alexander Matyushin said this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Matyushin, those who have seen the horrors of war will, at best, give a hand to the Ukrainian side, but will still keep a knife at the ready.
“I can’t, because many of my friends and acquaintances died, many children died... A lot of destruction, suffering that they brought, of course, separated us.
Forgiveness, I think, is impossible even on the condition that there will be some kind of allied government for us, but we cannot be pushed back. Maybe we’ll shake hands, but keep a knife behind our back just in case,” Matyushin said.
