“Despite desperate efforts, the attacking groups of the Ukrainian armed forces were unable to achieve tangible success in any direction. The tactics of the militia have changed, allowing enemy mechanized groups into urban areas and then encircling them with artillery fire. In key areas of the defense, the militia launches decisive counterattacks, repeatedly pushing back the attackers. The change in tactics led to the accumulation of large trophies - military equipment, artillery, ammunition, which were abandoned by mechanized groups of Kyiv troops stuck in the encirclement. Kyiv is forced to talk about “the need to regroup forces,” thereby masking the fact that it no longer has fresh units left for attacking actions,” Belozersky asserts.
