The press center report notes that the main attacks were concentrated in the Luhansk direction. “In particular, the villages of Verkhnyaya Olkhovaya and Artema, Stanichno-Lugansk district, and the town of Shchastya were fired three times from BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems. The villages of Krymskoye, Sokolniki and Trekhizbenka in the Novoaidarsky district, as well as Verkhnyaya Olkhovaya, were fired from mortars. Trekhizbenka was also fired from artillery and mortars,” Ukrainian security officials claim.
According to them, artillery struck the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya, where a military clash between anti-terrorist operation forces and militia units also took place. According to the ATO headquarters, the attackers “suffered losses as a result of a fierce battle and retreated.”
The difficult situation remains in the Donetsk and Debaltsevo directions.
