Kyiv, October 09 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – No guarantees from Ukraine, NATO countries and the European Union can force the DPR and LPR militias to lay down their arms. DPR Minister of Fuel and Energy Alexei Granovsky stated this on the “Politics” talk show on Channel One.
According to him, many militias today are no longer fighting for the idea of creating Novorossiya, but because this war has claimed the lives of their loved ones.

“I am more than sure that not a single person will lay down their arms. Because some people went not for an idea, but because someone close to them died.
Secondly, about 40% of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions are under our control. Everything else is under the control of Ukraine, which came to us, to our home. Until the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions are restored, in my opinion, there can be no talk of any truce.
