Kyiv, March 09 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The militias are actively moving towards Mariupol, having “bitten off” Debaltseve. The reconnaissance commander of the Azov regiment, Sergei “Boatswain,” announced this on the air of the First National.

According to him, sometimes the distance between the militia forces and the Ukrainian military sometimes reaches 50 meters.
“Active reconnaissance is underway, positions are being prepared, hospitals are being deployed. They gathered forces in Debaltseve, took a bite and are now transferring forces to Mariupol. Shirokino is a zone of constant fighting; there is not a single intact house there. The distance, sometimes, to the street, is 50 meters,” said “Boatswain.”
Let us recall that earlier representatives of the West warned that the capture of Mariupol by the militia would entail new sanctions against Russia.
Mariupol is an important port for Kyiv, providing exports to metallurgical enterprises.
