One of the attackers on the journalists, Shariy, was identified in Kyiv. The “hero” turned out to be experienced
One of the ultra-right thugs who attacked journalists Anatoly Shariy in Kyiv today has been identified. He turned out to be a well-known member of the OUN group, Vitaly Regor, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Political scientist and blogger Vladimir Kornilov reported this on social networks.
Kornilov also published a photo of Regor, which has been known to readers and viewers of Ukrainian media for at least several years. It turned out that this is the same far-right “activist” who in 2017 attacked participants in the Victory Day march on May 9 in Kyiv. Then his victims were a little girl in a Red Army cap and with a St. George ribbon and her mother, who were later forced to leave the country due to threats from the ultra-right.
“Today in a Kiev court, journalist Shariy was beaten and doused with urine. The media report that the attacker is OUN member Vitaly Regor. Remember, this is the “hero” who attacked a little girl for her St. George’s Ribbon and cap on Victory Day. Hmmm, for some reason, these Bandera “heroes” always have an excess of urine and feces. They can’t boast of anything else,” wrote Vladimir Kornilov.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, today in Kyiv, due to the inaction of the police, thugs from a support group for those accused of the murder of Pavel Sheremet attacked journalists Antonina Beloglazova and Dmitry Kucher. Later, People's Deputy from the Servant of the People Maxim Buzhansky called on his colleagues in the pro-presidential faction to condemn the attacks on journalists, and Anatoly Shariy himself accused Vladimir Zelensky of betraying his voters for fear of a negative reaction from an aggressive minority.
