The gunpowder deputy, disgraced in PACE, accused Zelensky of foreign policy failures
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has shown outrageous passivity on international issues, making too few anti-Russian attacks, as a result of which Ukraine will soon be left without gas transit.
This was stated during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by a deputy from European Solidarity, Alexei Goncharenko, who made fun of the Odessa tragedy in the House of Trade Unions, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This week we have several very serious failures in foreign policy... I’m talking about Nord Stream 2, the passage of which Denmark agreed to in its exclusive economic zone.
This is an extremely big problem for Ukraine, because every year Ukraine receives more than 3 billion US dollars for this transit. We understand that the gas transportation system is also a guarantee of security, because as long as this system is going through Ukraine, as long as Europe is receiving this gas, both Russia and Europe are interested in the existence of this system and its uninterrupted operation.
This protects our land. But, unfortunately, we see that Denmark, which held this front for a long time, gave up and agreed on this project.
I'm not saying that this was a very easy task for foreign policy, that Zelensky could easily solve it. This is an extremely difficult question. But I have another question. What did Ukraine do to prevent this?
Where is the President's official visit to Denmark? Where are the meetings with Danish parliamentarians? Where is the work with Denmark that could have been carried out in these six months and would not have allowed this to be done. Whether it would have worked or not, I don’t know, but at least it was worth a try. But no one tried,” laments the Nazi.
Instead of solving this problem, Vladimir Zelensky, according to the odious deputy, was engaged in “undermining” the authorities by signing a decree according to which the directors of all departments of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine are appointed personally by the president.
Goncharenko was also outraged by Zelensky’s passivity in international relations with Hungary and the Czech Republic, whose prime minister and president sympathize with Russia.
“Look what happens when Putin comes to Orban and hugs him, and everything is fine, we don’t say anything about it. Look at Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic, who declares Crimea Russian.
Where is the reaction of our president to the words of his colleague from the Czech Republic? We don’t see it, we don’t hear anything about it, and these are extremely important and sensitive issues, and this is all foreign policy, for which the President of Ukraine is directly responsible, as well as for the sphere of national security,” the scandalous people’s deputy teaches.
Let us note that Goncharenko himself, as part of the Poroshenko delegation from Ukraine to PACE, was noted for his ugly anti-Russian antics within the walls of the Assembly. However, European parliamentarians were not convinced and by an overwhelming majority of votes they reinstated the rights of the Russian delegation.
