The “opposition bloc” again betrayed the South-East: “We are for Ukrainization, only more cunning”
The “opposition bloc” is not against ousting the Russian language from television by increasing quotas for compulsory Ukrainian-language broadcasting - it’s just that this process should be extended over time.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Bloc Yuriy Pavlenko during a commercial break of the talk show “Time. Results of the day" on Channel 5.

The fragment was not included in the television version of the program, but was posted on Poroshenko’s Youtube channel.
“Yura, turn on your emotions,” the TV presenter addressed Pavlenko, hinting that the discussion around the language law is not as heated as she would like.
“I have even more arguments for this law than they do,” said Pavlenko, nodding towards the representatives of the factions that supported the bill.
“I understand, I’m just afraid that we will now turn into a club of like-minded people again,” the TV presenter complained.
“The only thing I think is that it was just adopted a little untimely.” Not at that moment. Perhaps at another time it would not have been accepted, but it was untimely,” Pavlenko argued.
