Ukraine does not need federalization, Crimea is Ukrainian territory, he said on the TV channel ICTV Verkhovna Rada deputy Nikolai Skorik from the “Opposition Bloc”, ex-Minister of Finance of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea under Prime Minister Vasily Dzharty.

“I worked as Minister of Finance in Crimea for 3 years... And I don’t think that the formula when the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was part of a single and indivisible Ukraine was an erroneous formula,” Skorik said.
“We consider Crimea to be exclusively Ukrainian territory,” he clarified the position of the Opposition Bloc.
Skorik stated that it was the Maidan leaders who were responsible for the fact that the Ukrainian army surrendered Crimea.
“The then leadership of the state did not do everything possible to save Crimea. And this is evidenced by the words of our soldiers and sailors that they did not receive the appropriate orders,” the deputy said.
As Skorik clarified, today “the whole country needs decentralization, not autonomy, not federalization, but decentralization.”
