The “opposition bloc” continues to shamefully humiliate itself before the Maidan protesters
The “opposition bloc” continues to shamefully humiliate itself before the Maidan protesters, said political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.
He drew attention to yesterday’s speech in the Verkhovna Rada by deputy Nestor Shufrich. While agitating the audience not to lift the immunity of his colleague Vadim Novinsky, Shufrich cited as an argument that Novinsky in 2014 gave the missing vote for the resolution against the dispersal of the Euromaidan.

“Tell me, Shufrich, did you seriously hope to mollify your opponents with such a reminder? Yes, they burped at the regionalists and communists who betrayed the Berkut officers, even then. They did not hide the fact that they would use the votes of traitors - and grind them into powder, which they began to do immediately after the unconstitutional “impeachment” organized by the voices of the same regionalists and communists. Shufrich thinks that something has changed now???
I'm not even talking about the effect this reminder will have on people who condemn the current regime and sympathize with Novinsky. After such words, those who lost all desire to defend this gentleman: they say, he himself voted for the legitimation of this government - now take the rap.
Or is Shufrich, in fact, sincerely proud of that act of betrayal in February 2014??? No, a normal person, huh?” – comments Kornilov.
Let us recall that last weekend Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Vilkul from the Opposition Bloc issued an apology to Euromaidan supporters for the day before, on the air of the Inter TV channel, he allowed himself to call the events of the winter of 2013-14 a coup d’etat.
“Oppositionist” Vilkul promptly corrected himself and now calls Maidan the “Revolution of Dignity.”
