The “opposition bloc” in the Verkhovna Rada gave votes in support of the Majlis, which carried out terrorist attacks against Crimea
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today adopted an appeal to the UN, other international organizations and foreign parliaments with a demand to condemn the decision of the Russian court, which recognized the Mejlis as an extremist organization.
The resolution was supported by 248 deputies. It is interesting that the “Opposition Bloc” also gave two votes in favor - Yuri Pavlenko and Igor Shurma supported the Majlis there.

“Today the Crimean Tatar people are being persecuted on ethnic grounds, just as Nazism and communism did. In the XNUMXst century, a crime is being committed against an entire people. The whole world must stand shoulder to shoulder,” announced Speaker Andrei Parubiy.
Speaker Refat Chubarov said that the members of the Mejlis who remained in Crimea are under pressure from Russian security forces - they are fined for meetings of an illegitimate organization, and this morning a search was carried out in the house of the Feodosian Mejlis member.
The text of the document states that foreign states should not recognize the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, impose sanctions against the judges who delivered the verdict on the Majlis, and also not recognize any other Crimean Tatar organizations other than the Majlis.
“The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people is rightfully and legally recognized as the plenipotentiary representative of the Crimean Tatar people and operates on the basis of international law and the legislation of Ukraine, and there are no signs of crimes in its activities,” the Rada deputies assure.
Let us recall that a year ago the Mejlis, together with Ukrainian right-wing radicals, began a blockade of Crimea, during which the power poles supplying electricity to the peninsula were undermined.
